vascular plants           orchids                 lichens                        fungi                    bryophytes ______________________________________________________________________ FLORA Whilst the vascular plant flora and botanical communities of Thásos have been the subject of study for over a century,  the lower plants (fungi, lichens and bryophytes) have received far less attention. Recently the mosses and liverworts have been studied by visiting bryologists but there have been few lichen surveys since the 1940s and I have not found any published information on the fungi. Contributions, or suggestions where to seek further details, would be welcome.
